Darcy Zelman has spent most of his life as a big game guide and outfitter in northern Alberta, and has been piloting jet boats up and down this stretch of the Athabasca River for over twenty years, with the last seven years spent in the eco-tourism trade. His vast knowledge of the river, its wildlife, and history make him one of the premier guides of this stretch of water on the beautiful Athabasca River. Shirley is a girl he picked up along the way...She can cook
All kidding aside, Shirley has always been an adventurous girl with a love for the outdoors and the beauty of creation, which she enjoys capturing through her camera lens and watercolor art. She enjoys sharing her knowledge of the plants and birds indigenous to the area, gained through growing up in the area all her life. Shirley and Darcy both enjoy being with people and making them feel welcome wherever they are. And truth be known, she actually picked Darcy up along the way... :-)
